Role of clubs:
Clubs are functioning in order to create an out – of- box thinking for students. Students learn about myriads of concepts about science, social science, maths and languages through these clubs. Apart from main stream subjects, there are various clubs like JRC, NSS, and Scouts functioning in order to kindle selfless service amidst students. “A Library is the window for the world”. We have a special club functioning in the name of “salaram” for Libray.
Health Camps:
Health checkup for children from the age of newborn to 18 in our place was conducted by a team of cardiac pediatrician from Apollo children Hospitals. 32 people were identified with severe ailments and they were sent to Apollo Hospital, Chennai for free surgery. Beneficiaries who were below poverty line were brimming with tears, when they thanked the management.
A team of doctors from “Aravind Eye hospital, Madurai” conducts eye camp on the eve of our Founder’s day for general public. Patients who are identified with cataract problems are immediately sent to the main hospital for free surgery.
